Welcome to Sycamore Lakes Park, where you can indulge in your love for touring and camping, staying in cozy cottages, log cabins, or spacious apartments, or even becoming a lodge owner. Whether you're interested in a peaceful day of fishing or a full holiday experience, you can always expect a friendly welcome from Joy, Jose, and the team. One of the main attractions at Sycamore Lakes Park is the Island Fishing Lake, a two-acre waterbody with a depth ranging from 5 to 6 feet. The lake boasts an island on its south end, providing a unique fishing experience. The mature pine trees surrounding the lake offer shade and shelter all year round. Anglers can access the island by crossing a renovated railway bridge from a nearby village. The pegs around the perimeter of the island are known for producing good weights of tench and silver fish, while carp can be found in various areas of the lake, particularly in the margins. The lake also features large clumps of water lily beds where big fish tend to congregate during the summer months. With some tench weighing up to 7lb, the Island Fishing Lake is a favorite among guests staying in the nearby log cabins. For those interested in specimen fishing, the park offers a Carp lake known for its sizable catches. The lake, with a depth of 6 feet and covering two and a half acres, is ideal for ledgering. Tree-lined banks on one side provide shade in the mornings, making it a comfortable spot for fishing in warmer months. The Carp lake is regularly restocked during the winter with fish from the park's own fish farm. The Roadside Fishing Lake, with a depth of 6 feet, is easily accessible and features water lily beds along its margins. Anglers staying in the holiday cottages nearby have convenient access to this lake, where large fish can often be found. Lastly, the Woodland Fishing Lake, surrounded by a young woodland on three sides, offers a tranquil setting for pole fishing. With a depth ranging from 8 to 9 feet, this lake is home to a variety of species including tench, small carp, roach, perch, and rudd. Fishing at Sycamore Lakes Park comes at affordable prices, with options for weekly, daily, and afternoon tickets available for both individuals and groups. Special rates are offered for OAPs, disabled anglers, and children under 14. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, you'll find the perfect spot to cast your line and enjoy a relaxing day by the water at Sycamore Lakes Park.
