Burn Valley Fisheries is a premier fishing destination located in the picturesque setting of South Creake, just outside of Fakenham in North Norfolk. Specializing in Common and Mirror carp, all bred from their own brood stock, the fishery offers a unique and high-quality fishing experience for anglers of all levels. In addition to carp, Burn Valley Fisheries also provides a variety of other course fish including Roach, Bream, Rudd, Crucian carp, and Tench. The valley boasts its own carp fishing lakes, strategically placed on a natural spring from the river Burn. These ponds have been meticulously excavated and landscaped to create optimal fishing locations stocked with a diverse range of fish species. One such location, South Creake Fishing Lakes, offers a three-acre fishing lake that has become a popular choice for both novice and experienced carp anglers. With the opportunity to catch Mirror/Common carp, Tench, roach, rudd, and bream, the lake has produced some impressive catches, including a carp weighing in at 28.9lbs. South Creake Fishing lakes feature 25 swims, making it an ideal day ticket water for individual anglers as well as fishing clubs looking to book the lake for matches. The lakes do not have a closed season and are open year-round from first light until dawn. Day tickets are reasonably priced at £7.00 for adults, £5.00 for children (under 16 accompanied by an adult), and £5.00 for concessions. Tickets can be purchased on-site from the bailiff or booked in advance with the owner, Nick Gardner.
