Information
The lake has recently been stocked with thousands of mirror and common carp, acquired from reputable fisheries. While the initial fish introduced were on the smaller side, weighing no more than 5lbs, there have already been reports of catches exceeding 20lbs. The lake has also benefited from flooding from the nearby river Ivel, allowing for a diverse range of fish species to thrive. Anglers can expect to find carp weighing over 20lbs, bream up to 12lbs, tench up to 9lbs, pike exceeding 20lbs, perch reaching 4lbs, as well as eels, roach, rudd, golden rudd, orfe, and hybrids. The Association responsible for the lake is dedicated to establishing it as a well-stocked fishery, promising good sport for fishing enthusiasts all year round.
