Brickfield Pond in Rhyl, Denbighshire, Wales, is a highly esteemed nature reserve covering almost 9 acres and is known for its diverse selection of coarse species. Managed by the Brickfield Angling Club, this former clay pit turned fishery offers 14 swims along its mature banks, with four-day tickets available for purchase. The watercraft approach is encouraged here, as anglers benefit from actively seeking out fish and responding to their movements. The pond, with depths exceeding 20ft in certain areas, is inhabited by an impressive population of carp, with some reaching the coveted 30lb mark. Additionally, anglers can enjoy the presence of bream, tench, roach, rudd, and Ruffe. During colder months, anglers are drawn to Brickfield Pond in pursuit of the hard-fighting pike and growing perch populations.
