The fishery boasts five mature lakes and a one-mile stretch of river that provide a diverse range of fishing experiences for anglers throughout the year. Penlake, the first lake you encounter upon entering the fishery, offers ample parking options at both ends for convenience. Featuring a variety of central islands and reed beds, each of the 25 pegs at Penlake presents unique opportunities for anglers, with many being secluded and providing a sense of privacy. Penlake serves as the primary match water for the fishery, stocked with mid-size carp that offer a satisfying challenge to anglers. In addition to the carp, there are also specimen fish patrolling the margins and islands, adding excitement to the fishing experience. The surrounding trees and mature landscaping not only contribute to the beauty of the fishery but also provide shelter and protection during the Winter months and shade during the Summer, enhancing the overall angling experience for visitors.
