Information
Originally created and developed by Tetley Walker Warrington, this mature water has a rich history that spans back generations and holds many secrets. The water was developed for the staff and has become a renowned spot for carp fishing. Old carp can be found lurking in its depths, including some very rare specimens such as English and monastery carp strains, mirror carp, common carp, wild carp, leather carp, koi carp, ghost carp, grass carp, linear carp, fully scaled mirror carp, and crucian carp. Most of the carp in the water are upper doubles and higher, making it a paradise for carp fishermen. In addition to the carp stock, there is a large variety of coarse fish in the water, including tench, perch, bream, rudd, golden orfe, roach, chubb, and barbel. These fish are of great size and weight, providing a thrilling challenge for coarse anglers. The fishing pegs are well-designed, barked, and well-maintained, setting the standard for an enjoyable fishing experience. The carp fishing water features two islands that offer plenty of opportunities to test your skills against the diverse carp population. Lily pads and grass banks provide good coverage, creating a safe and peaceful environment for overnight fishing. There are no overcrowded pegs or noise to be found here, allowing anglers to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the surroundings and focus on their passion for fishing.
